Chunxi Road, IFS and Taikoo Li form Chengdu’s central modern shopping and dining district, with dense pedestrian movement and several levels of entrances.

For foreign visitors, the useful plan is not only what to see but which entrance, identity document, transport connection and exit make the visit work. Save “春熙路·成都太古里” in Chinese before leaving your hotel.

Quick answer

Use Chunxi Road station as the anchor, connect IFS and Taikoo Li on foot, and save a precise mall entrance for meeting or ride-hailing.

The IFS climbing-panda sculpture and rooftop viewing point are different locations. Follow current mall access signs.

A practical route through Chunxi Road & Taikoo Li

  • Start at Chunxi Road station and walk the pedestrian street.
  • Enter IFS for the panda sculpture route if open.
  • Cross to Taikoo Li and explore its connected lanes.
  • Choose food away from the most crowded photo points.
  • Set the pickup at a named mall gate or hotel.

  • Move one block away for easier DiDi pickup.
  • Choose Anshun Bridge for a different evening walk.
