Seven Star Park is a large urban karst landscape of hills, caves, bridges and gardens east of the Li River.

For foreign visitors, the useful plan is not only what to see but which entrance, identity document, transport connection and exit make the visit work. Save “七星景区” in Chinese before leaving your hotel.

Quick answer

Choose the park areas that matter—landscape, Camel Hill or Seven Star Cave—and confirm whether each is included rather than trying to cover every path.

Tickets, reservations and passport checks for Seven Star Park

Check current park admission and whether Seven Star Cave or other internal attractions require separate tickets or timed entry.

Check the official channel for your exact date and choose passport as the identity type when real-name booking is required. Keep the confirmation, admission window and entrance instructions available offline.

A park ticket may not include every cave or paid activity. Confirm inclusions at the official gate.

A practical route through Seven Star Park

  • Enter from the gate closest to the planned first area.
  • Use the map to connect Flower Bridge, Camel Hill and chosen gardens.
  • Join a cave route only with enough time for controlled entry.
  • Keep food concealed around monkeys.
  • Exit through a gate that supports the onward city route.

How to fit Seven Star Park into a Guilin itinerary

Pair Seven Star Park with central Guilin or a relaxed afternoon after Reed Flute Cave, not a distant Yangshuo day.

Morning is cooler for hill paths. Rain makes cave interiors useful but outdoor stone surfaces slippery.

Keep a workable backup

  • Use a flat garden loop when hills are unsuitable.
  • Skip internal caves when the wait is long.
  • Avoid monkey clusters with visible food.
  • Return to the central lakes for a flexible evening.

Frequently asked questions

Is Seven Star Cave included in park admission?

Ticket structures can vary. Check the current official product because internal cave admission may be separate.

Can foreign visitors enter Seven Star Park with a passport?

Major Guilin attractions generally support valid foreign passports, but the sales channel and gate workflow vary. Bring the original passport used for any real-name booking.

How much time should I allow for Seven Star Park?

Plan about 3–5 hours, plus transport, security and queues. Mountain, river and outlying attractions need extra buffer for weather and internal transfers.
